Interview is done!

And we were worried about THAT?? We went in the interview room, which looked like one of those rooms you use to talk to someone in jail, with the bulletproof glass and a microphone. We had to raise our right hand and swear that everything in the file was correct to the best of our knowledge. Then he asked if the child was healthy, we said yes, he said ok, that will be $380. Our facilitator will go back tomorrow at 4 to pick up Dylan's visa and we'll be flying home on Saturday!

The first interview is the one where they can really grill you if they are going to grill you. The second interview is just really a formality. I'm so glad you are days away from boarding an airplane with your son!!!!!

Glad it went well and you'll be on your way home soon....in time for Christmas!! Don't stress about the 13 hour flight. All 4 of my kids slept through almost the entire time. It was a breeze. I think the humming of the plane engine puts them to sleep :) The final leg from the west to the east coast has always been our more difficult leg. But by then you're almost home so you just get through it!
